In light of the growing concerns around COVID-19 (the coronavirus), and recommendations from health authorities to limit large-scale gatherings, we’ve made the decision to cancel the Fine Woodworking Live 2020 event scheduled for April 17-19 in Southbridge, MA.
We will be processing a full refund for your registration, including processing fees—you won’t have to do anything. It may take up to 3-4 weeks for Eventbrite to accomplish this due to the number of event cancellations across the country in response to the virus. You will be notified via email that the refund has been processed. The Southbridge Hotel will automatically cancel the rooms for anyone who made reservations there using our promo code. For other travel arrangements (airfare, other hotels, etc.), we suggest you contact them as soon as possible to request a refund or to cancel.
The Live event has become the highlight of the year for all of us at Fine Woodworking. Education and inspiration are at the core of our program, but more importantly, perhaps, is the camaraderie we share in our passion for the craft. However, our priority must be ensuring everyone’s safety and well-being.
This unforeseen public health crisis will give us the opportunity to develop virtual interactive events, starting with some of the popular presenters we had lined up for this year’s event. Watch your email for details to come. And for you long-range planners, we have a date for next year, April 16-18, 2021, so mark your calendars—you’ll be the first to hear when registration opens.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times. If you have additional questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
